Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Post Closing Assistant to join our Closing Department. This is an entry-level position with no experience necessary, offering an excellent path for professional growth in the financial sector.

You will assist post-closers with their day-to-day work and carry a small pipeline to build hands-on experience as a post-closer over time.

Key Responsibilities

1Assist post-closers with selling loans to investors, fulfilling stipulations, and tracking documents.

2Fill in for post-closers as needed during vacations and days off.

3Carry a small pipeline to build hands-on post-closing experience.

Required Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Dependable, organized, and comfortable working with documents and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Interest in mortgage servicing and loan origination.

Knowledge of Encompass and Microsoft Office.

Skills & Competencies

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Clear written and verbal communication.

Eagerness to grow within a closing and post-closing career path.

Comfortable working in Salesforce (our CRM) and Encompass by ICE Mortgage Technology (our loan origination platform); prior hands-on experience with either is a plus, and we train the right person.

Comfortable using modern AI tools to work more efficiently - for example, drafting and paraphrasing emails, summarizing documents, and sharpening written communication - while always handling client and company information securely.

Collaborative and solutions-oriented, with a habit of picking up the phone to resolve issues directly across sales, processing, underwriting, and closing.
